Dross Drum(Mill)

The dross drum is a drum-type equipment that processes aluminum dross, which contains a certain amount of metal, before melting, removing oxide components from the dross. Allowing dross from reverberatory furnaces, injection crucibles, or primary production facilities to enter the furnace directly leads to unnecessary energy and flux consumption, increased scrap rates, and higher disposal costs. The dross drum operates on a ball mill principle, separating metal oxides from the metal as much as possible. This enhances process efficiency while minimizing environmental impact and economic losses.
